Who We Are
Sarah Eldred
Founder, Director & Choreographer
Sarah Eldred is a professional musician from Dayton, Ohio. She is a trained mezzo soprano and pianist. Sarah has been teaching piano for 27 years and voice for 24 years. Throughout the years, Sarah has performed in many musical theater productions, recitals, showcases and competitions. She has been a part of numerous choral groups and bands in the Dayton area. In addition to her vocal experience, Sarah has been a dancer since the age of 3. She was trained in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz and Tahitian at Viki Lynn's School of Dance.
Sarah founded Sound Check Show Choir in February 2013. In addition to teaching music, she works as a medical assistant at a local plastic surgeon's office. Sarah is married to her husband, Jason and has two children, Jackson (16) and Lucy (13).
Emma Camden
Assistant Director & Choreographer
Emma Camden has been a part of Sound Check since the first session. She played piano and cello for many years and began singing in choir in high school. She was a first soprano in both Stebbins High School’s Symphonic Choir and pop a Capella group Down to the Wire. Emma also has over 20 years of dance experience in various styles such as ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop and Tahitian.

Emma also works as an oncology nurse at a local hospital.
She is married to her husband, Cody and has two daughters, Hazel & Piper.
